Modular magazine with the possibility of a high capacity cutter module.
MaxiMag and MaxiFeeder reservoir and bale chopper are a response to the development of bigger farms and higher demands for automation, flexibility and capacity. The machine is modular and built either as a magazine or a bale chopper, in lengths up to 14,5 meters and a volume of 43 m³.
MaxiMag and MaxiFeeder are modular and may be configured as a magazine or a chopper, in lengths up to 14,5 meters giving a volume of 43 m³. The system gives high flexibility, capacity and level of automation.
It can be used as a stand-alone machine or in a automated system, optimizing filling of TMR-mixer and feeding wagons.
MaxiMag can be used as a magazin or feed table, controlled either manually or as part of a system. Sequence for filling makes it easy to load multiple bales into the machine.
MaxiFeeder as bale chopper is equipped with two knife drums and 120 knives. The rotation speed is 170 rpm, making the cutting highly effective. MaxiFeeder handles most type of forage - dry or wet round bales, square bales, straw or silage. The amperage is monitored and regulated to avoid overload and shutdown. An ultrasonic sensor monitors the flow of forage and regulates the conveyor to ensure even and precise flow out of the machine.
The Maxi concept is modular and can be customized its use and placement. The system consist of four modules: front section, mid section, rear section and cutting module. The shortest possible configuration consist of front and rear section, a length of 4,5 meter and 13 m³.
The system is extendable adding up to five sections at 2 meters each. Total length is 14,5 meters, giving a volume of 43 m³.
The system can be started by a signal from an external machine or through an app.
The filling sequence assists in distributing forage in the entire chamber. The conveyor is reversed until remaining forage is in the back of the machine. New forage is added and the machine moves it automatically to give space for additional forage. This is repeated until machine is full.
MaxiFeeder is equipped with two cutting drums with a total of 120 specifically developed knives, spinning at 170 rpm. The result is high capacity and a good cut. MaxiFeeder is shaving the forage mass, rather than ripping it, and is therefore not dependent of forage rotation.
