Gjermund Granum in Etnedal received a 32 meter FeedBack this spring. The tiltable feeding board was installed indoors in a newly built barn, representing a new type of application for the FeedBack.

The FeedBack sections fit the feed alley width of 1.7 meters perfectly, and is prepared for feeding using compact loader. Gjermund reports minimal forage spill and no need to push forage, as it is all accessible for the animals.

In total, Gjermund has a livestock of about 70 animals, thereof 40-45 milk cows. In the longer term, the new building is to be combined with the old one. The old building is subject to limiting factors when it comes to headroom and width, ruling out several traditional feeding solutions. Gjermund is therefore considering installing FeedBack in the older building as well.
